Peña's Boxing, a locally owned non-profit organization, is dedicated to youth development and preserving the sport of boxing. Our gym prioritizes instilling discipline to meet rigorous standards of physical fitness training, while our dedicated staff volunteers tirelessly to enhance the lives of our members, fostering camaraderie within the community and the sport. 2024 National Silver Gloves
Independence, MO
Peña's Boxing - Des Moines made another appearance to the National Silver Gloves Championship in Independence, MO on February 1st-3rd, 2024 and brought home some hardware. Siblings, Cesar and Isabela Rivera, competed in the championships in their respective weight class. Cesar, who was the 2020 National Silver Gloves Champion, brought home another belt after winning the 13-14 year-old division at 138 lbs, making him a 2X Champion. Isabela fought a hard fight but came up short and placed second in the 11-12 year-old division at 125 lbs.
